Gary Weaver was appointed Vision and Teaching Pastor of our church on July 1, 2009. He served in Lawrenceville for 7 years and also served churches in the Williamsport and Montoursville areas. He most recently served at Saint Paul’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Red Lion.

Gary is a native of Lancaster graduating from Hempfield High School where he met his wife Cindy. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College, Williamsport, a Master of Divinity from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, and a Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. Gary served on various Conference boards and agencies, including the Conference Board of Global Missions, the Board of Stewardship Foundation and serves as the chairperson of the Parish Development and Social Ministry Committee. He has also been a mentor for new pastors and served as a Team Uncle for the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

Gary and Cindy have two grown sons, Isaac and Aaron.
