ZETEO SAVE THE DATE: Feb. 4-6 @ Junction Center, Manheim PA

Fall Kick Off - First youth group of the school year!! Plenty of food, fun, and games to kick-off the year. A Squad Wars team competition and meal together are highlights of this event. We’ll also be starting new small groups - the most important thing we do - so don't miss this night! A perfect event to bring a friend and welcome them into our youth ministry community. There are Parent meetings afterwards on Zoom for new and returning families. A link will be emailed and sent on Remind that evening.

Mobile Mission - Bethesda Mission's street ministry is called "Mobile Mission." Our church team will follow the Bethesda van and make 3 stops at designated locations in Harrisburg city (where this organization has been stopping for years). The team will serve food and clothing to the people who are homeless. This has been a ministry our church has partnered with for many years, and so we had a lot of HS students go during the Local Mission Camp. As you can read on the website description, I can also testify that for volunteers it is often one of the most "transformative experiences of their lives." This opportunity is only open to HS age and older. Spots are limited! Please contact Jenny Greene ( ) to signup.

Battleball Tournament - A giant tournament (15+ teams) of church youth groups compete in a dodgeball tournament with mini-nerf soccer balls. It’s crazy fun! Our team M.L.B. (Major League Believers). Salt N’ Light leads a Worship Night following the tournament, and this year it’s a recap of the Impact retreat with some of our favorite songs, dances, and dramas. Lunch at 11:45am in Chocolatetown Park by the church, leave around 12:15, and arrive back around 9pm. Cost is $10/player. Use this jotform link or the hard copy in the church lobby to signup. For the Worship Night only, meet @ 5:15pm in the parking lot. We’ll have transportation to Otterbein UMC in Carlisle. Learn more about Battleball here.

Trunk or Treat - Join us for this annual church-wide outreach event! Decorate the trunk of a car with a fun theme and then hand out candy to kids gathered for the Halloween Parade. We’re encouraging students to do it with their small group or family! There’s a prize for the scariest, funniest, and most unique trunks! There are also opportunities to serve drinks, judge trunks, or help with kid’s activities. Use this jotform link or the hard copy in the church lobby to signup.

Milk & Honey Farms – Let’s spend an afternoon putting faith in action with a service outing to Milk & Honey Farms! We’ll meet in the parking lot @ 3pm, provide transportation for students, and arrive back @ 7pm. Over the past few years, our church has partnered with this small 5-acre farm in Lingelstown to support their mission of providing food for families and individuals in need (especially veterans). We may be weeding, harvesting, organizing seeds, or cleaning animal stalls. Be prepared to get a little dirty! We’ll finish the evening with a bonfire, hang out with the animals (goats, chickens, ducks, huskies), and return back to the church @ 7pm. Learn more about Milk & Honey Farms here.

Youth Group – A "normal" night in our ministry includes games, large group teaching, having dinner together, and our favorite thing we do: small groups. For 30-40 mins each youth group, we gather students (7th-12th grade) in age and gender specific small groups with at least 1 adult leader. It's a time for real conversation, being yourself, sharing life's highs/ lows, encouraging each other, asking tough questions, and discussing together what it means to love like Jesus. There's nothing else like it.

Zeteo Retreat - It's our highlight event of the year! We encourage all students to make this a priority. Check out our Zeteo 2020 video to get a taste of what this weekend is like. Special price $55/student until 11/1. Cost goes up $5 each month with the final deadline on 1/9/22. Signup here or on the hard copy in the church lobby. A lot of details to be worked out, but we plan (and hope) on this being an overnight experience again! See more Zeteo details on Salt N' Light's website.

Corn Maze Outing - All Kids+Youth students and families are invited for this Sunday evening special event @ Seyfert’s in Lebanon! There'll be a hayride, lots of games, and the maze of course. We have a picnic area with a fire pit reserved for the evening too, so we'll be having dinner and s'mores together - pack your own meal or buy at Seyfert's. Signup here. $10/person (not including any food purchased on site). We'll provide transportation to and from for any youth coming without a parent. Drop off in church parking lot @ 3:30pm. Arrive back around 8pm. Families may also choose to meet at Seyfert's around 4:30pm - parents are welcome to enjoy the evening with us! Address is 1800 East King Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. To help us plan for transport, please signup by Friday, 11/5.

Meet in the church parking lot @ 5:45pm. Spots are limited! Please contact Jenny Greene ( ) to signup.

Annual Holiday Sing - Melanie Walborn's music therapy organization is partnering with Hope Springs Farm again to host their Annual Holiday Sing for adults with special needs at our church on December 4. They are hoping to have some youth volunteers again. Help is needed from 11am-4pm. Contact Melanie ( ) if you're interested.
