The Purple
Potty
April 2011
From March 27 to April 14, FUMC Student Ministry sent the
“Purple Potty” around to neighborhoods to help FLUSH AWAY WORLD HUNGER.
This fundraiser raised $1,440 this way and was done in conjunction with
the “30 Hour Famine” event April 15-16, 2011. All monies raised will
go to World Vision’s feeding programs in Haiti. Donations to the "30
Hour Famine" fundraiser can be made
online or by contacting a student. The links for donations are
at the top right of the online page. Student Ministry has set a goal
of $4,000, which would feed 10 children for a year.

senior luncheons include lunch, fellowship and special program in the
social hall of First United Methodist Church of
Hershey.
Everyone is welcome and pre-registration is required by calling the church
office, 533-9668, or signing up at the Welcome
Center. Suggested donation is $3-$5.00.
