Using the labyrinth as a model for our spiritual journey and five weeks of worship, we will “journey in”
toward the center of the labyrinth for two weeks as we allow time to open our minds and hearts to all
that distracts us from fully knowing God. As we reach the center of our journey (Sunday, September
19), we will be invited to stay there as long we like. It is a place of meditation and prayer as we center
our thoughts on God. Receive what is there for you to receive. As we journey our last two weeks we
will begin the “journey out”. As we leave the labyrinth, we will follow the same path out of the center as
we came in, entering the third stage of the journey, which is joining with God, at work in the world.

First United Methodist Church of Hershey
has several distinct worship services on
Sunday mornings.

8 a.m.
Traditional Service
Follows the familiar United Methodist Church liturgy format with adult choirs. Located in our main sanctuary.

9:30 a.m.
Celebration Service
Follows a more contemporary format with a praise team band and singers. Located in the fellowship hall. Click here for pictures of our Celebration Worship Service.

9:30 a.m.
The Gathering
A worship experience for 6-12^th grade students.
Located in Room 204.

11 a.m.
Worship For All Ages Service
Creates an all-inclusive experience for children and families to worship together with adult and children's choirs. Located in our main sanctuary.

Children are welcome at all worship services. Click here to learn more about involving children in worship. Worship Pockets for Children, ages 3 to 11, are available in at the Welcome Center! Pockets contain items to help your child understand worship. Each child may claim one for his/her very own. Children learn by doing, so worship together as a family!

Nursery services are available every Sunday morning from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Click here to learn more about our nursery.

Sunday School is available for adults and children from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. each Sunday (during our Celebration Worship Service). Click here to learn about our Sunday School classes. Child care is also provided in our nursery during this hour.
