COVID-19 Precautions – First UMC Worship Gatherings

Please review the following precautions to safely gather in-person during the pandemic.

Guidelines for worshiping in-person:

  • Anyone quarantining for confirmed COVID-19 or awaiting COVID test results, must stay home and worship online.
  • Anyone feeling ill in the past 48 hours, especially with fever or cough, must stay home and worship online. CDC screening guidance may be found HERE.
  • Please note that ionization units have been installed in the sanctuary and overflow areas to help reduce airborne virus. After each worship service, there will be cleaning of high-touch areas as well as bathrooms.

Procedures for worshiping in-person:

  • Vaccinated attendees are NOT required to wear masks.
  • Unvaccinated individuals who choose to attend in-person worship are asked to adhere to CDC recommendations of masking and social distancing.

Thank you for showing care and respect for the members and guests of First UMC by following these guidelines and procedures.
